Quotes for 2010

My Friend Teri had a question on her facebook page about finding a motto for 2010. So I went on an inspirational quote hunt. These are my favorites. I love how one simple sentence can hold so much meaning.

1.) Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover. - Mark Twain

2.) In any situation, the best thing you can do is the right thing; the next best thing you can do is the wrong thing; the worst thing you can do is nothing.-Theodore Roosevelt

3.)Remember that happiness is a way of travel, not a destination.-Roy Goodman

4.) Few are those who see with their own eyes and feel with their own hearts...- Albert Einstein

5.)Live as if your were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever. – Gandhiji

6.) All of the animals except for man know that the principle business of life is to enjoy it.-- Samuel Butler

7.) Life isn't worth living unless you're willing to take some big chances and go for broke.-- Eliot Wiggington

8.) Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyways. – Anonymous

This one is my favorite "Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved." Helen Keller

Ruca and her paint

Ruca also helped stamp her mark on the rocks. Little green paw print.

Graffiti Fairy

From the chalk birds in leaves that I did on the sidewalk I got this idea to drop my little creations around the world and leave them behind. My friend Eileen thought of the name, "graffiti fairy" and I think that is a perfect name...just sprinkling my little bits of pretty graffiti everywhere for people to find.

This weekend I made a fish on a rock and took it to the sea. I took some pictures and left it hidden for someone to find as a treasure. Then my friend Laura and I went to the cliffs where we drew some chalk drawings and left them to slowly disappear through time.
